Meet our team of peak dental expert

Dr. Trey Kalbaugh is a dedicated and forward-thinking dental professional, originally from Southwest Missouri. Dr. Kalbaugh earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through New York University’s satellite program in Springfield, Missouri. This additional training provided him with advanced clinical skills and a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care.

After his residency, Dr. Kalbaugh worked as an Associate Dentist for 3 years. He took the next step in his professional journey by acquiring a dental practice in Nevada, Missouri, which he rebranded as Advanced Dentistry of Nevada, MO. Under his leadership, the practice transformed from a small rural office into a $1.5 million, state-of-the-art facility over the course of just four years. This remarkable growth was driven by Dr. Kalbaugh’s commitment to high-quality clinical care, adoption of cutting-edge dental technologies, and effective team leadership.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kalbaugh has remained committed to ongoing learning and is especially passionate about providing comfortable, patient-centered care. In May 2025, he sold his practice to pursue a new entrepreneurial venture in Austin, Texas—combining his clinical expertise with a desire to make a broader impact on health and wellness.  A few of Dr. Kalbaugh’s interests include outdoor activities such as snow and water skiing, boating, recreational sports, traveling, networking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
